Dr. James Daniel finished his undergraduate studies at Auburn University and obtained his medical degree at the University of Florida. He completed his residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, where he was Chief Resident. 

 

Dr. Daniel has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology at North Alabama Women's Center since 1998. He is a board-certified OB/GYN specialist and a Certified Gynecological Surgeon. Known as the "singing doctor" by his patients, Dr. Daniel welcomes new babies to the world with a song.

A native of Wedowee, Dr. Daniel is an active member of the Moore Avenue Church of Christ, where he also serves as a youth director. He has been involved in many community organizations where he served on the Board of Directors. Some of these organizations include the Anniston Board of Education, Boys and Girls Club, YMCA, and the Anniston Community Foundation. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, artistry, and traveling with Patricia, his wife of nearly 50 years, and their two children.
